Life goes on, thats what I've been told. But why does life pause and who's pressing hold?

Time Reveals Character

In times of need

In times of want

There are some who give

And some who taunt

In times of loneliness

In times of despair

There are some who leave

And some who care

In times of uncertainty

In times of fear

These are the times

That make it all so clear

Because in these times we all play a part

A part that shows whether we have a heart

Pain

If others had my eyes to see

They'd be surprised what man I be

If others had my ears to hear

They'd hear themselves full of fear

If everyday they woke in pain

A pain that made them all but sane

And every night they went to bed

With that pain still in their head

What if this pain never goes away

Where will I end up some day

I want to live a life fulfilled

But will that dream end up killed

What life is that to try and live

It's something that I'd rather give

But to whom do i give a broken life

One destroyed by pain and strife

Eating away my sanity

Is all this pain does to me
